James Fisher Testing Services showcases structural health monitoring capabilities on the Normandy bridge project.
James Fisher Testing Services (JFTS) has featured in the March edition of Bridge Design and Engineering, with an in-depth look at the capability of the Smart Asset Management System (SAMS) on one if it’s latest deployments across three bridges in the Normandy region of France.
In the feature, JFTS’ Matthew Anderson, head of bridges and structures discusses the application of the system across the three structures and sheds light on its latest capabilities in the areas of IoT, big data analytics and the potential to utilise machine learning for intelligent and predictive structural modelling.
